Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you create a family account, we store:
- Account info: the username and password you choose (passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text).
- Family info: family name, member names, avatars, and colors you pick.
- Calendar data: events, pickup times, locations, and recurring schedules you enter.
- Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and debugging.
Family members — including children — are added by a parent or family admin. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children; all member profiles are created and managed by the family's adult admin.
How we use it
- To run the service: showing your family's calendar to your family's members.
- To keep accounts secure and fix bugs.
- We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party ads inside the app today. We do not share your family's information with anyone except as required by law.
Who can see your data
Only members of your family (people who joined with your family's invite code) can see your family's calendar. We never mix one family's data with another's.
Data retention and deletion
Your data stays as long as your family account exists. To delete everything, contact us at happypickupfamily@gmail.com and we will delete your family's account and all its data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new date.
